Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP phone systems) is a money-saving alternative to making phone calls on a traditional landline, by using broadband Internet rather than the conventional or analog phone system. In simple terms, it’s using the Internet to make phone calls.
The biggest advantage of VoIP is that it offers significantly cheaper calls than traditional landline services, making long distance phone calls cheaper. It also has the added convenience – like all cloud solutions – that you can use VoIP wherever you may be, as long as there is an internet connection. VoIP systems are also accessible via email and are particularly handy whilst traveling, meaning you can keep in touch with staff or make conference and video conference calls at a low cost.
On top of this, we provide cloud-enabled systems you and your staff can manage (via a simple web management interface). A key advantage is that anyone can manage your phone system with minimal training – removing the majority of the support and maintenance cost.
VoIP systems can also be used with your own phone, a VoIP converter or VoIP telephone adapter, which can easily plug into any computer, reducing the costs of installations and the need for new equipment. Most VoIP systems come with a number of services that you will experience on traditional telephone systems, including anonymous call block, caller ID, call waiting, voicemail and much more.
“We work with a host of different VoIP providers, meaning we can take the time to get to know your needs, and recommend the best system for your business. We’ll install a unified communications system, providing you with support on how to use this going forward, meaning you’ll have more time focusing on what matters.”
