Updates from the Piran Tech Team
Changes to our IT Service Desk team
July brings about a change in personnel for the team at Piran Tech!
Sadly, Mike Jaimes (MJ) is heading back to Manchester to be closer with family and so will be leaving the Piran team from 5th July. We’d like to thank MJ for all of his contributions during his employment with us since 2019, and what a 3 years it’s been! MJ moved from his role as an engineer to become our Technical Account Manager in April 2021 and has been in charge of looking after our customers since. We wish MJ the best of luck with his new endeavour!
Who will our new Account Manager be?
With MJ leaving, Sam McCune will be stepping into his role to ensure our customers needs are looked after. Sam will be stepping over from his role as our Service Desk Manager and with 3 years in that role his knowledge of our customers, their systems and our products ensures that your technology needs will be met! Sam will of course still be working closely with the Service Desk team for all projects and implementation plans.
What about Service Desk?
The responsibility for ensuring our Service Level Agreements are met and ensuring your support calls are being dealt with has been passed to Andy Montgomerie. Similarly Andy has been with the company since 2019 and has a wealth of experience working with all of our products and customers!
Any other changes?
Yes! We’ve recently employed a new first line engineer Josh and he’s expected to start with us in the not too distant future!
